Karen Savage, 66, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. No services are planned at this time.
Karen was born December 12, 1947 in Iowa to Kenneth and Marriane Welton. She was a cook at Big Dog Billiards. Karen was a member of the Norwoodville Senior Center, enjoyed playing cards, camping and playing in two pool leagues.
Karen is survived by her son, Kenny (Holli) Savage of Des Moines; daughter, Kandie Savage of Des Moines and five grandchildren, Stephenie, Hazel, Braydon, Hailey and Connor Savage. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Stephen Savage.
