Keith Beaty, 61, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, IA. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel with burial at Jordan Cemetery.
Keith was born in Jamestown, Tennessee to Vella Mae and Bill Beaty and was a high school graduate of the York Institute in Jamestown. He was a longtime employee of Rhiner’s Plumbing.
Keith was an avid athlete, a patient and loving family man, a devoted husband, and grandfather to many. He was very giving of himself and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary; son, James (Judy) Beaty; nine grandchildren, Jeffery, Bunny and Sophia Beaty, Suco, Sally and James Keith Beaty, , Jose and Don Cordova, and Charlie Redrovan; sister, Billie Jean (Steve) Adkins and their daughters, Ashlie and Angela Adkins; nephews, Ryan and Jason Meadows; and his faithful dog, Jake. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sarah; and two brothers, Kenneth “Asby” and Richard” Leon” Beaty.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at McLaren’s Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
