Leandro (Dave) Paloma, 90, passed away on May 30, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, surrounded by family. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Sacred Heart Parish with burial at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.

Leandro was born on February 27, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Torivio and Gabrielia Paloma. He enjoyed Mexican music, dancing, bowling, boxing, and taking long naps.

Leandro is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Elpedia Paloma; one brother; one sister; three children; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many extended family.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at McLaren's Chapel in West Des Moines with a Rosary Service at 7 pm.
