Louie Juliano, 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Methodist West Hospital. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines, Iowa. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
Louie was born in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Angelo and Carrie Juliano. He lived all of his life in Des Moines and for his entire work career he was involved in the retail grocery business. Louie served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany after World War II. He was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Katie, and many nieces and nephews whom he cherished dearly. Louie was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, his son, Dr. Mark Juliano, and his nephew, William Bair.
