Remembering Lynn (aka The Bird), with love and laughter, from a classic Coe College TKE Playboy Party (1970?) with friends from St. Luke’s School of Nursing. As always, a good time was had by all.

Mr. Clark was such a wonderful memory of my time at AIB back in 2004-2006! I am so sad to hear of his passing! He taught with kindness, humor and wit and made college so much more enjoyable! Thinking of Halsey and his family during this time. 😢💛

I was deeply saddened to hear about your loss, Mr. Clark. You will be missed by so many. My heart is heavy, as you touched my life just as you did countless students over the years. You had a rare gift for connecting with young adults in a way few others could. Your influence lives on in every life you shaped.

I’m sorry to learn of your passing Mr. Clark. You will be missed by many. Lots of fond memories from BMA and our fun trips. You were always there for your students. You’ve touched so many lives. Thank you for investing so much of yourself in our learning and our futures.

Lynn and I were roommates and fraternity brothers at Coe . He was a true friend. When we were younger we had many great times together. Lynn was always ready to stand by his friends. He was someone you could trust and count on for help and friendship. He knew how to have a good time but more importantly he knew what friendship and brotherhood was all about. He was a unique individual who will be remembered by all his friends. He will without a doubt be missed and always remembered by all his friends and brothers 
who knew him in the days of his youth.

Lynn and I grew up together in Des Moines, attended Westminster United Presbyterian Church youth group and choir and TRHS together.  He invited me to his TKE formal at Coe his freshman year and the following year I started school there at Coe/St. Luke's Hospital to become an RN. We remained friends through college and I will just say that wherever Lynn was you could count on much fun and shenanigans!   His Mom,  Emily,  and my mother were very close friends throughout their lives.   I lost touch with Lynn after graduating and leaving Iowa,  but  we all still talk about our days with  Lynn  "The Bird"  Clark when we get together with mutual friends and that inevitably is accompanied by smiles and laughter.   He certainly  technicolored our young world.

He was an all time favorite teacher of mine.  Always treated me with respect.  My parents were good friends of his both personally and professionally.  They knew each other through the advertising business and Mr. Clark would invite my folks to come teach real life advertising to the college kids.  I enrolled into AIB mainly in his recommendation and I’m glad I did.  Always full of stories, a love for marketing and advertising and mutual love of the Hawks and sports.  He’ll be missed and certainly remembered through the AIB Business College community.
