Society, a 20-year member of Willow Creek Golf Course women’s league, a Brownie troop leader, and helped in the United Methodist Church Sunday school nursery.
Maria enjoyed golfing, decorating her home, cooking for family and friends, collecting cookbooks and watching RFD T.V. She was kind to everyone she met and her kitchen was always open to family and friends for German cake and coffee. She was always willing to lend a helping hand.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Leland; children, John Harvey of Suwanee, Georgia and Mary (Jon) Davis of Urbandale, Iowa; and two grandchildren, Brian and Leah Davis; Maria was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Martha and Else Dolletscheck.
