Marilyn Conn Keltner, 70, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in Steinhatchee, FL. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at McLaren’s Chapel with burial at Cambridge Cemetery in Cambridge, IA.

Marilyn was born October 16, 1944 in Des Moines, IA. She worked for 25 years as a Registered Nurse in the E.R. at Des Moines General Hospital. Prior to her nursing career, she was a loving and compassionate mother, homemaker and beautician. She was the primary caregiver/mother to her brother and sister while they were growing up. Marilyn’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters on their farm and creating many memories for all to carry on throughout their lifetime.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Jim Keltner of Des Moines; two daughters, Danita (Steve) Tesser and Kris (Dale) Wright both of Des Moines; two granddaughters, Jaynah and Maryah Wright; brother, George (Kathy Kenyon) Sandberg of New Virginia, IA and sister, Candy (Lonnie) Steffens of Whitefish, MT. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jared and Ethel Carlton; mother, Virginia Rice; father, James Dooley and brother, Dan Dooley.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McLaren’s Chapel. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
