We are saddened to announce the death of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and more, Marilyn McKinney. She died on December 29, 2023 after a brief illness. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, neighbors, and community members she served. Her wit, charm, and heart were known far and wide and were why she was so loved.
A visitation for Marilyn will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 1020 24th Street, West Des Moines, Iowa 50266. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church and will be live streamed for those unable to attend in-person, at youtube.com/watch?v=eHfNJUgWdJw or go to the services portion on her page and view live stream. Marilyn will be laid to rest in Lincoln Cemetery near Granger, Iowa.
