Born on October 30, 1932, Martha grew up in Attica, Iowa, and lived a life full of love, faith, and community. A devoted member of the First United Methodist Church, she found deep meaning and joy in her spiritual life.
Martha was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Hardie, and her son, Jeffrey Hardie. She is survived by her family and loved ones near and far. Despite these losses, she remained a steady source of warmth and strength to those around her.
Known for her gentle spirit and quick wit, Martha brought light and kindness wherever she went. She treasured time with her family, whether sharing meals or enjoying peaceful days at the lake, and she embraced every moment with grace. Her love of golf brought her joy and lasting friendships. As a proud member of the Eastern Star, she dedicated herself to fellowship and service with dignity.
Martha’s legacy lives on in her family and all who knew her. May her memory continue to inspire kindness, connection, and joy in each of us.
