Neva Jean McCann Harvey, 87, went to join her loving husband, Wendell and daughter, Deberah Jean on April 19, 2016. Neva was born October 9, 1928 in Des Moines, IA to Harold and Esther (Kilpatrick) McCann. She attended East High. Neva was a homemaker and a sales associate at Younkers Valley West. Neva enjoyed bird watching, reading and gardening.
Visitation will be from 10 to 12 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at McLaren’s Chapel with a funeral service at 12 p.m. Burial will take place at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.
Neva is survived by her children, Susan Harvey and Kevin Harvey both of Des Moines; and grandson, Brian Scott Harvey of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her three sisters and two brothers.
