Patricia Ann Smith entered Heaven on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 8, 2011 surrounded by her devoted family.
There will be no visitation and a celebration of life will be held on May 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley United Methodist Church, 42nd and Ashworth Road, West Des Moines.
She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on October 16, 1932 to Catherine and Raymond Fleming of Beaverdale. In 1963 Pat married Will C. Smith and together they shared a loving life with their five children; Mark (Shirley) Smith, DyAnn (Bill) Menzel, Mary (Brian) Henry, Linda (Dennis) Michael and Susan (Bruce) Campbell, their eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. Pat was a dedicated wife, mother and sister. Her brother, Jim (Caryl) Fleming resides in Bettendorf, Iowa. Pat was an avid golfer, bridge player and cook. She will be dearly missed, never forgotten and forever loved.
