Speaking on behalf of the entire Fitzpatrick clan, we are so very sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. Nancy and I are well familiar with his teasing and sense of humor as we spent many hours at the Oxenford house before we moved from Des Moines in 1961. What a lovable and charming character with a smile to match. Your mom, Jo, was also a very special lady. Sending love and hugs to you all!

37 years ago my brother and I needed a place to call home. I thank God every day that I met Paul Oxenford. He saved my brother and I from a life that could have gone horribly wrong. I know in my heart that Paul was way to stubborn to die, and he has simply moved on to his next big adventure! My brother and I would like to thank the entire Oxenford family for sharing your Dad with us at a time when we needed him most! We will miss Him so so much! RIP Paul we will see you soon!!

The entire Van Why family send their sympathy in the loss of Paul Oxenford.  Going back to the 50's and 60's and continuing until I left Des Moines in '77, Paul and girls have been in our lives.  they were a loving and caring family that we so admired!  Recalling all those precious memories helps with the grieving process.  God bless all of your extended family.

Lexa:  So sorry to see that your dad passed away.  I remember when I worked with you and he joined us for lunch.  He had a way about him that was larger than life.  My sympathy to you and your family.

My thoughts are with you all.  I so very much wanted to be there as I greatly appreciated the Oxenford presence at my Mom's funeral.  May you find comfort in each other and the wonderful memories you share of your Dad.

He was the kind of man that many of us found to be a great role model.  A man who served his country, served his community, and served his family.
