Peggy Lynn Metcalf

Peggy Lynn Metcalf, 64, ascended to her Heavenly Father on November 8, 2018. A memorial visitation will be from 12 Noon until service time at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery.

Peggy was born November 28, 1953 in Des Moines to James and Clara (Wesley) Davenport. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy and attended Iowa State University. Peggy was a homemaker and so much, much, more.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Louis of Des Moines; one son, Louis Jr. of Des Moines; sister, Patricia Calhoun of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, James (Sherry) Davenport Jr. of Des Moines; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, John Calhoun.
