Rhonda Denise Westberg, 62, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 in Des Moines. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2017 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Sunday.
Rhonda was born April 24, 1955 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Phyllis Jean Lee. She graduated from Des Moines Tech High School in 1976. Rhonda loved gardening, nature, fishing, and being at the farm.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Westberg; sisters, Danette Kleemeier (Scott) and Lynette Ryan; brother, Steven Ryan; children, Jamie Michael (Joselyn), Wendi Butters (Joel), Misty Praski (Jesse), Josef Butters (Alice), Brennen Westberg, Crystal Westberg, Greg Westberg-Miller (Clint), and Tiffanie Perez (Edwin); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and special friends, Vivian Jordan and Sharon Ellison. Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother; brother, Alliston Patrick Ryan; and Wilbur and Wilma Dirk.
