Gene Jenkins, 92, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015. Gene’s wish was to be cremated and no services are planned.
Gene was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a longtime member of South Gate and Gnemeth Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by a son, Dennis Jenkins of West Des Moines; daughter, Jan (Gary) Hahn of Blue Springs, MO; five grandchildren, Kevin Jenkins, Denise Pruett, Robert Jenkins, Kristin Tribble, and Greg Hahn; three great-grandchildren, Jade, Taj and Maggie; and his companion of several years, Bernice Boyce. Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Jenkins.
