Robert O. Evoy, 84, passed in his sleep on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery followed by a luncheon at McLaren’s.

Robert was born February 12, 1931 to Dorothy and Oscar Evoy in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He moved to West Des Moines in 1967, worked as a General Account Manager for Massey Ferguson for 35 years, and was a CPA, CA. Robert enjoyed golf, retirement at the beach house with friends from Canada and Tulsa, and spending time with his family, especially the grandkids.

Robert is survived by his wife, Louisa of West Des Moines; son, Mark (Angie) of Adel; daughter, Debbie Evoy Wiley (Brent) of Clive; grandchildren, Derrick and Trevor Wiley and Spencer and Sally Evoy; brother, William (Audrey) of Burlington, Ontario; brother-in-law, George (Mary) Johnston of London, Ontario; and many nieces and nephews from Canada.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at McLaren's. The family would like to give a special thanks to Spurgeon Manor in Dallas Center and Central Iowa Hospice of Perry. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society.
