She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, brothers Norman Nichols and John Nichols and brother-in-law, Richard Minear. She is survived by her sister, Coleen Minear, her niece Candee Minear, her nephews Randy Minear (Ginger) and Hugh Nichols (Marsha) and great nieces and nephews.
Rosalie married Robert in 1945 and they celebrated 69 years together. They lived in Clive, Iowa, until they purchased an acreage in Van Meter, Iowa.
Rosalie worked at Northwestern Bell until her retirement. Rosalie and Robert then went on many adventures across the United States, including Alaska, in their 5th wheel RV until they decided to split their time between Overgaard and Apache Junction AZ. After Robert’s passing Rosalie settled down in her Park Model in Apache Junction. There she was active in many activities and sports, one of her favorites being golf. Her family was incredibly proud that she was golfing at the age of 93.
Rosalie was involved in many organizations and was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
There will be a memorial service and celebration of her life at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
