Stanford Eugene Alexander, 88, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines. Graveside Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, IA.
Stan was born in Buffalo, OK. He was a retired Air Force Veteran who proudly served his country during the Korean War. Stan was a pilot and his first love was his plane, Juliet. He loved to golf and watch the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs.
Stan is survived by his two daughters, Cynthia Robinson and Christina Alexander; four grandchildren, Shawn, Josie, Jacob and Holly; and two great-grandchildren, Skye and Evelyn. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Dorothy Alexander.
