

Thomas Anthony Noble, 71, died peacefully Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Iowa Methodist Hospital with his family by his side after a long illness. A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines.
Tom was born February 28, 1943 in Buenos Aires, Argentina to Burdette and Helen Noble. He attended Drake University where he received degrees in English and Psychology. Tom married Connie Randels on August 25, 1963 and together they had two children, David and Virginia. He was a sales rep for many years in the Des Moines area. Tom was a longtime member of the Young Men’s Breakfast Club and enjoyed numerous outings and events with his friends over the years. He enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, and he made friends everywhere he went. Tom found great joy in his family and his new grandson, Nico. His zest for life stayed with him until the very end. Tom will be missed by the people whose lives he touched day to day.
Tom will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years, Connie; two children, David and Virginia (Sergio) de Flores; grandson, Dominick; brother, John (Diane); nephews, Brian and Johnathon; and nieces, Susan, Karen and Jenny; and his best friend, Eddie the Beagle. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Cynthia and Judith; and nephew, Gregory.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Gregory Hicklin and to the staff at Methodist ICU for their tremendous care, skill, and devotion as they looked after Tom for the last few years and especially in the last few weeks.
