Virginia Bice, 69, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Kavanagh House on 56th Street. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at McLaren’s Chapel with burial at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines, Iowa. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday.
Virginia was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Walter and Flora Jorgensen. She was a homemaker and caregiver. Virginia loved to sew, enjoyed the outdoors and her flower gardens, and loved animals, especially dogs, birds and fish.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde C. Bice; three children, Cindy, David and Jennifer Lynn; three step-daughters; and a brother.
