Johnston, IA. - Dan “Danny” Fallis passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at his home.
Dan was born April 17th, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa to Willard and Virginia Fallis.
Dan was a graduate from Valley High school class of 1974. Dan always claimed his further education was earned through the “School Of Hard Knocks”. He owned and operated the family business W.D. Fallis Sodding for over 50 years. He took great pride in his hard work. Dan's greatest joy in life was spending time with family. Dan recently retired and enjoyed traveling with his partner, Pam Kucera.
Dan is survived by his three children; Mackenzie Fallis, Chelsie Fallis and Cory Fallis. His brother, John Fallis. His partner, Pam Kucera; her children, Gavin Kucera and Alexis ( Matt) Van Zante as well as their children. He is preceded in death by his parents Willard and Virginia Fallis.
There will be a private family ceremony for Dan at McLarens Resthaven Chapel on Saturday, December 18th. A celebration of life will follow. Danny’s family would like to extend an invitation to all who knew Dan to share stories and memories. The celebration will be held at the West Des Moines Elks Lodge, from 2-6 pm.
