Dear Nat and Eranne,
Please know how sorry I am for your loss, that of your families and the loss to Anne's many friends and former students. Looking back over the past 20+ years has been a difficult task for me and one that took weeks to complete. Your mom was a wonderful person and friend with whom I shared many good times, a lot of laughs and a few tears along the way.
We both loved teaching, oysters, sharing funny stories and memories, Friday nights at the Oyster Co., Red River Beach at 4, Oysterfest in the Fall, lunch at Encore followed by a matinee at the Cape Cinema, red wine, good books and music, catching up over drinks and apps with "The Great 8", summer lunches on the deck at Brax, breakfast and mah jongg at Cranberry Valley and long discussions about our families, children and grandchildren.
Our phone calls and texts of late were filled with laughter, commiseration for our respective situations and plans for September when we would both hoped to be more mobile.
I miss your voice, your laugh and your always optimistic view of all situations. Your positivity throughout your medical ordeals was an inspiration to us all, you were a trooper and handled it always with dignity, grace and humor.
God bless and Godspeed Anne. I hope you are where you want to be and with those that you love.
With fond memories to be remembered always.
xoxo, Bonnie Haas

For so many years, Anne’s music brought joy to students at HES . We will never forget the many spring concerts she conducted. She was a dedicated, kind, loving teacher. She will be missed.

Annie's outlook of life lived on the sunny- side of the street. Her glass was never half- empty, but at least half- full, and usually overflowing with optimism. To see or hear her brought smiles. She Loved life, and was one of the most caring, considerate, and kindest person I've ever met.
Annie will be sorely missed. She was a gteat friend.

Condolences to her family

Anne and I have been friends for over 50 years. Neither time or distance could separate us My children grew up knowing her sweet, kindness and loving nature and we will always treasure our wonderful memories of Anne. The past seven years here on the cape have been ever more special being able to drop by any time like our friendship began. God bless you and keep you in the palm of His hands.

Our family is truly heart broken over the passing of such a wonderful mother, grandmother , and friend. Anne was my first friend and we met at exercise class in 1992. Over the years we have had a long lasting friendship and a bond that has helped both of our families get through some tough times and good times. Anne spent many an hour at our children’s music performances, plays , and dance recitals, they are so sad over this loss. May we all aspire to be like Anne, in her giving nature and thinking about others instead of herself. Prayers and thoughts for all. Love, The Hurley-Del Vecchio family

Anne was a dedicated and caring teacher, both as a first grade teacher giving her students the best start in their education and as the music teacher for the whole elementary school, inspiring a love of music. I feel fortunate to call her a friend. She will be greatly missed by all. You have my deepest sympathy.
