.Beverly Jane Hackett, AGE 82, of Brewster, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, at the Eagle Pond Rehabilitation & Living Center in SouthDennis after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her son Jeffrey S. Clark of Candia, NH, and her daughter Candace E. Wolcott of Harwich. She is also survived by her grandsons Tyler and Jeffrey Wolcott of Harwich. Beverly was predeceased by her husband Paul F. Hackett, and her brothers Francis Dillon and Richard Dillon.
Born in Cortland, NY, Beverly lived for a time in Shrewsbury, MA, and later moved with her family to Brewster. Beverly enjoyed working as a manager for many years at the Colony Beach Motel in Dennis Port and the Old Landing Hotel & Cottages. Beverly especially enjoyed time with family and friends on the outer beach of Nauset.
Calling hours will be at the Doane Beal & Ames Funeral home on Sunday Dec. 18, 2011 from 2-4 pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
