Charles Richard Egbert

C. Richard Egbert also known as Charles Richard Egbert, entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, October 25, 2015. Born in Deland, FL to the late Charles Rome and Caroline (Lorry) Egbert, Charles lived in Harwich Port, MA with his beloved wife Jean Elizabeth (Goodrich) Egbert.

Charles was a graduate of Stevens High School in Claremont, NH. He was a proud United States Army Veteran of WWII serving with the 580th Heavy Automotive Maintenance Company in Guam. CPL Charles R. Egbert ended his service to our country in 1950 during the Korean War. After the war, Charles attended the University of New Hampshire where in 1952 he received a BA in business. After his graduation, Charles started his profession in sales, he most recently worked for LaValley Building Supply.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife Jean Elizabeth (Goodrich) Egbert; his adored children Brenda, Jeffrey & Chuck Egbert; his cherished grandchildren Sarah Hook Rand (and husband Winslow Rand), Jennifer Hook, Brian Hook, David Hook & Sandra Egbert. Charles also leaves behind his cherished great-grandchildren Taylor Barton, Arissa Flood and Joey Flood.
