

Born on Nov 17, 1951 to Mary (Vincent) and Robert Marceline from Harwich MA. Edward passed peacefully surrounded by family including his dog Tucker and his granddog Baxter. He is survived by his wife of 7 months Deborah and her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Edward is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Mary (Pena) and his son David Day. Edward leaves behind his daughter Jennifer and her partner Douglas Granville; his son Eric and wife Mary along with their 3 children Lorelai, Jace, and Austin; his step-daughter Valarie, and many other family and friends.
Edward was a commercial fisherman in his younger days and continued his love of fishing all his life. Edward obtained an honorable discharge as an Army Specialist in the Vietnam War and is a member of the VFW. Edward was a marine mechanic and boat builder at local boatyards and taught mechanics at CC Tech.
Throughout his life, Edward loved classic cars, bowling, flea markets and yard sales, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.
Edward will be remembered as a devoted father, a loving family man, and a loyal friend.
Edward will be honored and interred at the National Cemetery in Bourne MA on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 1:15 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward's name can be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, and local animal shelters.
