Eileen is sorely missed, especially at our Trinity Book Club.
She was always up and always fun and always a faithful friend.

I have fond memories of Eileen.  I met Eileen at our stitch weekends many years ago and always enjoyed her. We had so so many wonderful interesting conversations and exchanged so many stories. She was quite  a lady and so glad we crossed paths!  Rest in Peace Eileen you will be missed but thinking of you will always bring a smile to my face!

Eileen was like a second mother for me at a difficult time in my life, taking me in like one of her own sons and showing us all how to be bold, brave and generous. God must have reserved a very special place for her in His heavenly kingdom.  Thanks Aunt Eileen and Bourke brothers - I love you all.

Dear Bill, Jim, Ed, grandbabies and all of our Eileen's loving family and friends.
So many thoughts and memories of all the good times we had together are spinning in my mind.  
Your mom loved (loves) each and every one of you more than you can begin to imagine.  Her whole life here on earth was devoted to the three of you.  She saw to it that you got to Mass each Sunday.  HOLY TRINITY became a big part of your growing up years. 
She worked very hard raising you to be the good men that you are.  Good sons, good husbands and good fathers.  And yet, she still had room in her heart to love so many other family members and friends.  Every one of us has an "Eileen story!" 
She always had her camera ready to make sure that every important occasion was "documented." I am sure you must have boxes and boxes of old "black and whites" to go through.
Our Lord gave her 90 full years here on earth to share her life with all of us.
We mustn't think for a moment that she is "gone."
She is but a whisper away.
She closed her eyes and stood before our Lord and I am sure He reached out His arms saying, "WELCOME MY CHILD."
I know behind Him, waiting to welcome her were Marcy and Poppy, brothers, Stephen and Michael and her dear sister Pat.  And with them, stood her Bill.  
I send my love and prayers to all as I sit here mourning her passing,

Heartfelt condolences to the Bourke and Charles families at this time of loss. I will remember Eileen as a generous spirit, always uplifting and kind. Proud of her lovingly raised boys and richness of her extended family. Deeply committed to her Catholic faith and Lord Jesus Christ. Rest in Peace.

We are so fortunate to have had someone like Eileen in our lives.  She was always a breath of fresh air and will be missed by all that knew her.

I truly can’t believe the effort Aunt Eileen made to come to my surprise birthday party only a few weeks ago - I will miss her hugs mostly, truly the most comforting of all.  She was masterful at keeping us all grounded, no bragging allowed. Always the first to revel in all of our accomplishments  - I will miss her dearly and so very grateful to share in her last precious days.

There are so many but the one I’ll share is the Christmas she stayed in Harwich.  Her son Ed asked if I’d go by and bring her a tree. I showed up with a tree, a wreath and a cup of hot chocolate from Dunkin’.  The glow on her face was priceless.  I set the tree where she requested and we chatted about what else, the Red Sox.  LOL!!!  She was a hot stover of the boys of Summer for sure!!!  I will miss her dearly.
