Eileen I.V. Jones

Harwich – Eileen I. V. Jones 93 passed away on October 15, 2010, peacefully with her family beside her. She was the devoted wife of Earl A. Jones who predeceased her, on December 11, 1997, after 57 years of marriage. Born in Lynn MA, on January 22, 1917, she moved to Lexington in 1949 where she lived until her retirement and moved to Chatham for 12 years. Eileen returned to Lexington in 1991, then moving back to Harwich MA, with her daughter. She began her career as a legal secretary in 1934, where she became the youngest Notary Republic in MA. She also was a 49 year member of the Lexington Chapter No. 1830 E.S. Eileen was baptized in 1936 at Trinity Baptist Church in Arlington MA. Mrs. Jones was the loving mother of Barbara E. Rose of Yulee, FL, Nancy L. Wilga of Franklin MA and Susan H. Batstone of Harwich MA. She was a devoted grandmother to Robin L. Bogosh, John A. Rose both of Yulee, FL., Craig A. Wilga of Ashland MA, Christi I. Wilga of Foxboro MA and the late Curt W. Wilga, and great grandmother to Kayla M. Rose and Amber A. Rose both of Falmouth Maine and Noah W. Bogosh of Yulee, FL. There are also surviving several nieces and nephews. Burial is Private at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Harwich Port, MA.
