

Born on January 19, 1950 in Hyannis MA, he was the son of the late Emanuel and Minnie Pena.
In 1968, Frank graduated from Barnstable Vocational High School. He later attended Fisher College, where he trained as a Certified Nurse’s Aide.
Frank worked in construction for many years. Those that knew him would tell you that he could build or fix anything.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Amvets Post 44 in Brandon, FL. While living on the Cape, he was also a long time member the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Frank loved music and playing his saxophone. He also enjoyed fresh water fishing. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his loving family.
In addition to his parents, Frank was also predeceased by his son, Frank Pena, Jr.
Survivors include his sons, Arthur Pena and his wife, Anita of Fort Collins, Co, Emanuel Pena of Harwich, Leon Lopes and his wife, Catrina of Marstons Mills, MA; his daughter, Griselda Caminero of Los Angeles Ca, Lavern Lopes of Dennisport, MA; his brother, Gene Pena and his wife Kate of North Reading; his sister, Roseanna Pena-Warfield and her husband, Gregory of Hyannis; as well as 8 grandchildren, one nephew and several cousins. Frank will be remembered as a warm and gentile man with many friends both here and in Fla. He will be missed. Frank proudly served with the US Air Force as a weapons mechanic from 1970-1974 during Vietnam and continued in the Reserves utill 1976.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Main Street in West Harwich.
Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery with Military Honors
