Jana, I am glad I got to tell you this while you were alive: that I always remember what a sweet kid you were and that I was rooting for you. I am sorry for any pain you faced in life. I hope that now you are now flying through the universe, light and free. To Jana's family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss. I can't know how you feel but even the little bit I can imagine hurts, a devastating loss. She was wonderful. I am glad that you have one another to lift one another up. My condolences.

When I first moved to “The Cape” from Long Island in 1990, my mom and I needed to find a new salon to go to. My mom used to get her hair colored and when she found as she said “THE PLACE” for us to go, I knew it was going to be good. That’s when I met Jana for the very first time at a salon in Brewster and oh boy did we hit it off! I ended up getting my nails done every 2 weeks and what should have taken an hour or so ended up being like 2 because we would be downstairs laughing so hard. I “followed” Jana to the other salons she worked at as well. Wow. What memories. Those are the moments I think about when I think of her kind spirit and that smile!!! This hurts. Not going to lie. Jana, you are forever in peace and I have been sending you guidance. To Jana’s family and friends, please know that you are all in my nightly prayers.

I met Jana a while ago working at Great Clips in Dartmouth. We weren’t instant friends but what came from knowing her ended up being something nice. Jana rode to and from work with me quite often. Even after us both leaving the job, we continued to stay in touch. When she was sick with Pneumonia I ran some errands for her and would give her words of encouragement. Jana spirit always made me laugh, I remember she flaunted her reduction to me and sent me pictures... 😂 always made me laugh. We made plans back in April to get together soon. We both thought Covid would be over much sooner and we’d be able to hang, again. Unfortunately, that never happened for us and has left me heartbroken. I would like to give me condolences to her friends and family. Despite her struggles Jana had a pure heart and loved her family very much. I am praying for you all during this time.
