My prayers are with the McHugh family.  My Mom just called to tell me of the passing of your Dad.  I have fond memories as a youngster playing at the McHugh house, as the doors were always open.  God Bless.  Tom…see you soon…with McHale & Cotter.

I'll never forget the 1000 lakes adventure in 1970 with your Dad and his brothers families where for two weeks in the wilderness we found out that we were a meal for the bears and thousands of mosquitoes. Your Dad came to an understanding about the native american Indians during that trip. He exclaimed, one night at the camp fire, that they may have seemed, to our european counterparts, aggravated, hopping around screaming and dancing when in fact they were merely swatting furiously at the merciless little buggers. He found humor even in misery.
The McHughs have brought me countless laughs and our lives are richer, our hearts more tender due to them.
