Loving and Beloved Mother and Grandmother

Dennis Port - Linda Marie Serroni (DiPerri) of Dennis Port, loving and beloved mother, grandmother, niece, cousin and friend died on January 14, 2012 at Cape Cod Hospital, after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer.

Linda is survived by her loving son and best friend, Robert Serroni, Jr. of Harwich, who was by his mother's side till the end. Also, she leaves her other son, Christopher Serroni of Harwich. Her beloved grandchildren, Aaron, Riley and Payten were very special to her. She loved them with all her heart and they will miss her dearly. In addition, Linda leaves two aunts, Shirley Carleton of Winterport, Maine and Janet Langley of Marshfield, MA. Furthermore, Linda leaves her wonderful cousin and friend, Cindy Cooper of Marshfield, MA, who was by Linda's side till the end as well. Also, Linda survives many other cousins and friends who were dear to her. Linda's life was devoted to her family and friends. It was the foundation of all that was important to her, and, for them, she was thankful. The world was a better place with her in it. She was a loving, kind and selfless person. She will be greatly missed.

Linda's job at Epoch Senior Healthcare of Brewster lasted for 24 years. She was a dedicated and hard worker her whole life. She was a wonderful cook and loved to make things for family and friends. One of her most memorable times was her trip to Walt Disney World 2 years ago, with her son Rob and her 2 beloved grandchildren, Aaron and Riley. Her most recent adventure was to see the Rocketts Christmas Spectacular in Boston in December. She was also an avid "Bingo" player and loved all her friends there. She also loved her occassional trips to Foxwoods Casino to play the slot machines. Linda had a big heart for animals of all types, especially, her recently adopted, new best friend, her dog "Jackie" ("Jackson"). She also loved to care for stray cats.

Visiting hours and service will be at the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 260 Main St., West Harwich, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, with burial to immediately follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Harwich.
