Louise Grace Cafarelli

HARWICHPORT - Louise Cafarelli of Harwichport passed away December 4, 2010, after a long illness at the age of 91.

Louise was born in White Plains, New York on September 26, 1919 to Vincent and Antoinette Cannato. She was one of eight children and leaves behind her surviving siblings: sister Jean Molinari of Thornwood NY, and brother Charles Cannato of Southbury CT. She was the wife of the late Enzo Cafarelli for 56 years before he passed away in 1997. She and her husband raised their three children in Valhalla, NY before retiring to Harwich in 1987.

She is survived by her daughter Donna and son in law Geoff Wiegman of Harwich, her son Enzo and daughter in law Kathy of Bolton, Ontario Canada and son Vincent and daughter in law Sandra of Frederick, Maryland. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tina Cafarelli of Sussex, NJ; Daniel Cafarelli of Blacksburg, VA; Nicole Cafarelli of Frederick, MD; Katie Wilder of Trumbull, CT; Sara Staats of Winchester, MA; Laura Wiegman of Costa Mesa, CA; Andrew Wilson of Ontario, Canada; and Bree Cameron also of Ontario, Canada. She was predeceased by her beloved granddaughter Karen Wiegman. She also leaves her great grandchildren Ashley, Anna, Henry, Elizabeth and Grace who always brought her great joy.

She and her family greatly appreciated the loving care of her caregivers: Christina, Judy, Lisa and her dear friend Diana Tubman.

Louise was a very special lady whose greatest joy was being with her family and friends. She had a beautiful smile that could brighten any room she entered and she enjoyed being the life of the party. Louise had a life long love of animals especially her cat Lizzie. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home of Doane Beal & Ames 260 Main Street, West Harwich MA from 9:00AM to 10:30 AM on Saturday December 11, 2010. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11AM at Holy Trinity church in West Harwich.
