Mark Donald Brouillette

Brouillette, Mark Donald, 58, of Harwich, passed away on January 2, 2017 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Mark was born in Worcester, MA to Michelina (Scappaticci) and the late Donald Ralph Brouillette. In 1973, they moved to Harwich where Mark graduated from Harwich High School. He pursued his passion for technology by continuing his education at Cape Cod Community College earning his Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Communications and Business. Mark was proud to pass his expansive knowledge on to others by teaching computer classes to adults and children alike and owned his own information technology company, MB Computers and Data of Harwich and Cape Cod Web Service. Never expecting anything in return, Mark impressed friends and family with his computer genius, compassion for others, and unlimited love for his family. His curiosity for space never wavered and he was known as an avid supporter of science fiction, always wondrous of the bounds of technology and human limits. In Mark's free time, he would also enjoy watching football, even teaching his mother the rules and strategies until she too learned to love the game as much as he did. What he loved even more than football was Christmas with his family and snowy days.

Best known as “Uncle Mark” and the “Best Big Brother,” he leaves behind his devoted mother, Michelina of Harwich, his cherished brothers, David Brouillette and his wife Kathleen of Harwich and Kevin Brouillette and his partner Arthur Waller of Dennis as well as his loving niece Emily Brouillette of Harwich and loving nephew, Eric Brouillette and his fiancé Lisa Gould of Yarmouth. He will be truly missed by many cousins, friends, and all who knew him. The family would like to thank the staff of Cape Cod Hospital for their kindness, caring, and compassion during this difficult time.

A Funeral Mass will be held in Mark’s honor at Holy Trinity Church, 246 Main St. (Rt. 28), W. Harwich, on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
