You were always my favorite doctor.  You saved my life and i thank you!  You were a wonderful person...my condolensces to your family...and you have a special place in my heart.

Uncle Boo, you were a wonderful person and you meant so much to us and to everyone you have met. You always knew how to make us laugh. Heaven has truly gained an angel. We will miss you greatly.

A person who is dearly loved by his family, friends and patients.  An outstanding physician who truly empathized with people, someone who had a zest for life, I admired greatly and feel fortunate in having as my father-in-law.  He will be greatly missed.  I love you Marvin..

I can't begin to say all that Marv meant to me and my family and friends. Back in the day, he was someone who would climb mountains if he could help with anything important and he was a really, really good scientific doctor! Generous and warm to boot. I think the following paraphrasing Peter Tosh best describes the Marv I knew well especially in the 60s and 70-- one "Upfill" and progressive people" with a very cool and kind laugh, a keen awareness of the world around him and all that people had to go through to survive in it which made for some biting humor but also deep insights...and tons of compassion.

My heartfelt sympathies to all his kids and grand kids, the rest of his family and all who knew and loved him.. He will be missed!
