Its hard to grasp such events as this but if you know aunt Mary you know she wouldn't want anyone to be sad. Aunt Mary was someone who always had you laughing or was there to drop the occasional gem for whatever your situation was.
You will be greatly missed i will never forget all the lessons you taught me and the joy you bring to this family

Auntie Mary has been a part of our family for as long as I can remember. She would always say how much I look like my mother. She was a wonderful person and she will be missed.

Dear Family & Friends of Mary Roderick,

Today we send home our sister, aunt and friend. Mary became my "Auntie Mary" almost 40 years ago and I am grateful to have had her as part of my "village" growing up. Over the years, Auntie Mary shared words of encouragement and imparted gems of wisdom, as I made my way from school girl to womanhood. When I would walk into my parents house, often times Auntie Mary would be sitting at the kitchen table chatting with my mother...her sister-friend, Gail Granville. Auntie would do a sing-song "hellooooooo", offer a warm smile and then slowly stand to give me one of her BIG hugs. Her last gift to me was a framed photo of me with my parents...she had subtle ways of making you aware of what was important. Thank you Auntie Mary and may you rest in heavenly peace.

Love Lynnette
