Muriel Helen Scully

She and her husband, the late Joseph V. Scully, raised their family in Hawthorne, NY and later retired to Harwich Port, MA. She is survived by her daughter, Maureen Plath (Donald) of Skaneateles, NY and is predeceased by her son Dennis Scully (Karen) of Putnam Valley, NY.

Muriel has five grandchildren; Christopher, Trevor, Jessica, Jamie, Joseph and two great- grand children Tyler and Breanna.

She is survived by her sisters; Betty Brown, Jean Innes, and Doris Waters of Cape Cod; Sybil Guthrie of Rhode Island and Constance Cowan of Utah. Muriel is predeceased by her brothers Sidney, Gordon and Ian.

Muriel worked as the Office Management Secretary of Social Services for Blythedale Childrens’ Hospital of Valhalla, NY. She was employed by Cape Cod Five Bank in Orleans, MA.

Services will be held on Thursday Jan 5, 2012 at the Church of the Holy Spirit 204 Monument Rd. Orleans, Mass. At 11am. Interment to follow at Island Pond Cemetery Harwich
