Paulina Helen Gontarz

November 27, 1991October 4, 2019

Paulina Helen Gontarz, 27, died unexpectedly on October 4, 2019. Raised in Scituate, MA until she was 9, Paulina then moved to Maine and lived on the Point Sebago Resort Golf Course. She moved to Florida when her grandfather became ill and stayed with him until his passing in 2005. She then moved to Hyannis, MA to be closer to her family. Following her mother Debra's tragic death in 2008, she moved to Pembroke Woods.

Paulina was always there to support and love her family and friends, and was extremely generous with her time, going above and beyond to help others. With her parents in the restaurant industry, she enjoyed food and sharing family recipes with the world. She was always adaptable to anything that life brought her way. Paulina loved her two dogs: her Bassett Hound, George, and a Boxer/Pit-bull mix, Tucker. Swimming each morning and walking along the beach brought her joy. Paulina adored children; in FL, where she was a member of All Villages Church, she loved to help with Vacation Bible School each summer. She loved God and loved others as well. Paulina was a very passionate person who was kind, easy-going and well-liked by all who knew her.

Paulina is survived by her loving father Robert LeGore of W. Harwich, her aunt Jean McKee of Plymouth, her grandmother Pricilla D. LeGore of Plymouth, and her uncle Bruce Chapman of VT. She is predeceased by her mother Debra LeGore and her grandfather. Paulina is survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who will miss her presence in their lives. Paulina's love and life will never be forgotten.

We had so many fun times and shared so many memories that I truly don’t know where to begin. Whether it was puppy sitting, someone to help paint our kitchen, or coming to my rescue in the many, many times that I locked myself out of the apartment at Pembroke Woods, you were always there for Tom, Surf and me. I miss you so much! Rest In Peace my “Special Friend.” We love you
