Robert E. Cybulski

Robert Cybulski, age 84, of Harwichport, Cape Cod, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September, 3, 2017 at the Wingate Health Center, Harwich, MA. He was born on September 15, 1933 in Greenfield, MA to Stephen and Frances (Romanczyk) Cybulski and grew up in Montague. He graduated with honors from Turners Falls High School in 1956 and played trumpet in the Turners Falls High School Band. He married Barbara Yamamoto and moved to Harwichport in 1990.

Prior to retirement and moving to Harwichport, he operated a dairy farm in Montague for many years, He was proficient in operating and repairing farm machinery and continued this as a hobby after moving to Harwichport. On the Cape and in Harwichport, he continued his love for farm machinery and restoring tractors, taking part in many Cranberry Festivals and parades on the Cape.

His wife Barbara predeceased him, as well as a brother, Edwin Cybulski, who died at the age of 16 in 1960. He is survived by his loving stepdaughter, Carol Yamamto, Harwichport, MA.

He enjoyed his retirement years in Harwichport and loved returning to the area where he grew up, visiting his many friends and relatives in the area.

Harwich, MA on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 246 Main Street, W. Harwich, MA.
