Roberta Patrice King

Roberta was born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 22, 1961. She was the third of four girls of Eleanor and Robert L. King Jr. Roberta grew up in Braintree and graduated from Braintree High. She continued her education at Saint Michael's College in Winooski, Vermont. Upon graduation, she returned to Braintree to join Eleanor King Real Estate. Roberta was a natural at finding people their dream homes. The frosting on the cake was working with Eleanor.

Roberta loved reading from the first book she read. Roberta loved everything simple, yet sophisticated. She adored Mother Nature and the birds and flowers. She patiently grew gardens from seed. Roberta was the honeysuckle scent as you walked out the door. She never missed a moment or a detail. She loved to share joy.

Roberta is predeceased by Robert L. King Jr., Eleanor C. King and Debra Lee King Kendrick. Roberta leaves two sisters, Susan L. King Kernan of Harwichport, MA, Marytheresa King of Dennis, MA and her nephew, Johnathan Matthew Kernan of Abington, MA.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 260 Main St. - Route 28, West Harwich, MA, on July 13, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, followed by a prayer service at 4:00 pm.

A Committal Service will take place at Plain St. Cemetery, 225 Plain St., Braintree, MA 02184, on July 14, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
