

She was born in Allenstown NH but called Massachusetts her home for the majority of her adult life.
She attended Notre Dame College, in Manchester, NH where she earned a B.S. degree.
She went on to become a research scientist with Tufts biochemistry department in Boston. From there she was employed with Abbott Laboratories, in Worcester, MA, until her retirement several years ago.
Yvette loved vacationing all around the world with a group of special friends. She was an avid outdoors person who loved kayaking, bicycling and especially the beach.
For the past few years her passion was renovating her dream home. She was a gracious hostess and a gourmet cook.
She is survived by her brother Richard Gaumont and his wife Claire and a sister Jeannine Hebert and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother Arthur Gaumont.
Yvette will be greatly missed by her family and friends and especially her cat Matisse.
Services will be private.
