Barbara was like a mom to me back in the rollerskating days when her n my dad worked there. I loved helping her with the birthdays. She was a great person she will be missed 💔

For My Beautiful Friend-
So many years ago when I was growing up amongst the Bauer/Zizis Families, you gave me the biggest piece of advice that I could ever possibly think would affect me for the rest of my life. You said “Don’t ever let anyone step all over you and dream big”. Well guess what Barbara...it has taken me all these years my Friend, but I think I’m finally there. Thank you. You have meant so much to me throughout my lifetime. You always told me just like it was...never pulling any punches. That’s what I liked and admired most about you-ur directness, whether one liked to hear it or not. Early in ur life you had the terrible loss of your husband, Pete and you managed to raise 4 beautiful grown adults. I’m grateful to call Keith, Paul, Nancy & Drew my friends. That’s what life is all about. Friends and life lessons. Barbara...you taught me a lesson of friendship when I was growing up and you also taught me a lesson of honesty. You didn’t want me to succumb to the negativity that was around me, so you told me a few things that changed my life forever...for that I will be eternally grateful. Fly High My Friend🦅 Be with Pete for I am sure he has waited a long time to hold you as well as Mom and Dad. I love you Barb and my heart hurts. My tears today are tears of pain and sorrow for the loss of my Friend. Tomorrow and each day following I will let some of the words that Nancy told me sink in-“When you left us you were in peace”. ❤️🌹❤️
