Kathryn Van Schaick, 75, of Bay Shore, Long Island, New York on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. Long-time employee of John Bosch Bus Inc., Babylon, New York. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Van Schaick. Loving mother of Tommy (Evelyn), Kim (Jay), Sandy (Tom) and Jeff (Laurie). Beloved grandma / nanny of James, Nick, Sammy, Will, Allison, Emily, Michael, Liam and Sean. Dear sister of Eileen DeFalco and Billie Foley. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit Friday, October 4, 2019, 2-4:30 and 7-9:30pm, at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Homes, 255 Higbie Lane, West Islip, New York 11795. Mrs. Van Schaick's Funeral Service will take place, at the funeral home, on Friday evening at 8:00pm. Family and friends are asked to gather at the funeral home on Saturday, October 5, 2019 beginning, at 12:00 Noon, before Kathryn's funeral procession leaves the funeral home, at 1:30pm, for Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York 11735 where graveside prayers will be offered and committal will take place.
