I loved seeing those pictures of the same beautiful smile on such a beautiful person. My sympathies & condolences to her beautiful family, of which she seemed to share such a happy life. God bless you all.

I am so saddened. I just learned, this morning, of Marie's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to all my Mitchell family. Praying for your peace that surpasses all understanding. I cannot help but imagine, that as we grieve and reflect on her remarkable life, heaven is celebrating Marie's welcome home.

I know there are no words to take away the pain you are feeling. Marie was a wife, mother, grandmother, nurse and a friend who will be so dearly missed. I clearly remember the day we met when she was hired at UPR some 30 years ago. We became fast friends and she was a respected colleague. She was my “right hand” and I couldn’t have done my job without her. Not only was she an excellent nurse she treated every resident with such care as if they were a member of her family. We also bonded over our “73’er’s” Karen and Carrie. Both born in 1973 experiencing similar life events. But the greatest life events we shared was the birth of our grandchildren especially the first.
Thank you for sharing her with me.
I am out of town so I can’t be with you today but you are all in my thoughts, prayers and my heart.

We send our deepest sympathy and love to you as remember my dearest friend, Marie.
She was my model, my mentor, my confidant, and just the most optimistic and joyous friend I’ve ever known.
I’ve missed her so much and will miss her always.
My deepest love and sympathy is with you - Tom, Tommy, Missy, Ed and Karen and all your families. Love, Sharon Widing
