My brother Ken Small was fortunate many years ago to meet and marry Pat.  She provided him with the love and support he needed and she also brought him into an established family unit that provided him with happiness, a purpose for his life and a sense of well being.  When Brother Ken passed away during 2009, Pat was with him providing love, support and encouragement. For this the Small family will always be indebted to Pat and her family. It is evident that Ken's life was significantly enriched thanks to Pat, her family and those who loved Pat and Ken.  Pat's passing brings an end to the  earthly relationship that we have had with her,  but we can be encouraged as Christians that a new and fulfilling relationship has been  rekindled in heaven for Ken and Pat and for those who have gone before Ken and Pat and for those that will follow them.  

1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another as he gave us commandment.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God and knoweth God.  

Pat demonstrated Godly love and I pray that we can all do the same!

I shall miss my Sister-in-law dearly, but she is with the Lord and with my
brother Ken.  They are finally together and they are falling in love together
because they are together.  We shall not forget both of them, and always be
remember for all the good they did, and the children and grandchildren they 
love dearly.
Now we can move on because they both love all of us and we shall see them
again when the time comes.  She is not suffering any more thank God for that and now God will take care of them both.
