I just found out about Richies passing. I remember a lot of great times hanging out with him when we worked at  Guardian. My condolences to Alice and the kids. RIP Rich. You will be missed.

I only found out recently of the passing of Rich-I was a member of the same gym & always remembered his wit & compassion ,he enjoyed life to the fullest-he will be in my prayers.RIP.

I was devastated by the loss of our beloved friend Richie.  His life was way too short and his illness went much too fast.  .  He was in my life for more than 44 years and he always brought a smile to me face.  Whether he was singing his Clearview Camp song or just saying funny things, he had us all laughing.  I loved when he visited my home, he loved my coffee, and my gravy and I loved feeding him.  His personality was genuine and he loved to talk to most people.  He will be greatly missed by my family.  Give Freddy a kiss for me Richie and rest in peace knowing you were loved by us.   Lorraine Castle

Ellen and I worked many years with Richie at Guardian and spent many happy days having fun while working hard and doing good. I'll always remember his smile and his laugh, his fine Italian suits --  and his love for any occasion involving excellent wine and Sal Anthony's. Many of our Guardian alumni are very saddened by his early passing. We remember him very warmly.

My deepest sympathy to the Morello family. Richie was the best manager I ever had. He was always the life of the party, and was very generous. I will truly miss him. May he rest in peace.

Our deepest condolences to the Morello family. One of my dad's and my favorite things to do was sit at the bar at Angelina's in Syosset for dinner on a Friday night and chat with Richie. He was a very special man, always smiling and so much fun to be around. We will miss him terribly. May God watch over you and give you strength during this difficult time.

Every time you talk about the good times, you will smile and remember him...he will always be with you, he lives in your heart...our sympathy to Mrs.Morello and her children.

We are so sorry to hear about this sad news...we loved talking to him especially about places in Italy. He always would say "when you are ready to see Italy, tell me and I will suggest some things to see" ..you will be missed by so many people.

May the love of friends and family carry you through this very difficult time. Richie was a great man and will be very much missed. My teenage son only met him once and just fell in love with him.  He treated everyone like family and I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to know him and the entire Morello family.
