Adrienne Williams Brady passed away on July 6, 2021, due to complications with Parkinson’s Disease and a recent diagnosis of cancer. She grew up in West Palm Beach. Her parents were Hoyle and Pearle Williams, and she was the youngest of four (Hoyle “HB” Williams, Betty Williams, and Patricia Wilson). She was 76 years old.
Adrienne is survived by her sister Patricia Wilson, daughter Hope Balasis and son-in-law Perry, son Andrew Brady and daughter-in-law Shelia, and grandchildren Bryce Balasis, Bailey Balasis, Liam Brady, and Dylan Brady. Adrienne’s most important role was a loving, caring, and compassionate mother and grandmother (Ya Ya). No matter how exhausted she was from her busy schedule, she always found time to love, encourage, and support them in life.
Adrienne was known as “Ya Ya” to her grandchildren, and “Coach Brady” to her students. She was a beloved member of the West Palm Beach community. She retired from Palm Beach County Public Schools after over 40 years of service where she spent most of her years working with students at Wellington Elementary School as an instructional teaching assistant. She touched the lives of so many people as she guided her students to greatness. She was a twirling coach to “Team Wellington” which included children from kindergarten through 12th grade. Many students went on to represent the teams for all the major Universities in the state of Florida. Her love of baton twirling was evident as she took her team across the nation, including (but not limited to) Hawaii, America’s Got Talent, and Twirl Mania at Disney’s wide World of Sports in Orlando. At Twirl Mania she received the honor of being chosen “Choreographer of the Year” in 2002 along with winning countless other prestigious awards.
The family invites you to join them for visitation at Quattlebaum Funeral Home (6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33405) on Monday, July 12th during the hours of 6:00pm- 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the same location on Tuesday, July 13th at 10:00am followed by a procession to Lake Worth Memory Gardens where she will be laid to rest.
