Aleyda was born in Melena del Sur, Cuba to Concepcion Alvarez and Norberto Peraza on August 17, 1939.
She married Guillermo Salazar in Melena del Sur. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother to her family of origin and chosen family.
Aleyda is preceded in death by her parents, Concepcion and Norberto, and brothers Norberto and Felicio.
Aleyda is survived by her children Aracelis, Guillermo, and Frank; her grandchildren Abel, Emma, Guillermo, Malena, Frank, and Olivia; her great-granddaughters Nicole and Valentina; and her sister Andrea.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on February 14, 2025 at 6411 Parker Avenue West Palm Beach, FL. Arrangements are by Quattlebaum Funeral Home.
