Mrs. Beverly E. Poston, 93, of 1915 Ebenezer Road, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012, at Piedmont Medical Center.Mrs. Poston was a native of Lehigh, Iowa, and the daughter of the late James Orvia and Bert Belle Pettibone Elsberry. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed golf. Mrs. Poston was a lifetime member of the PEO and an active Episcopalian and served as an Altar Guild member for many years. She was the widow of Richard Asbury Poston.Mrs. Poston is survived by her son, Richard Poston of York; her daughter, Leah Wells of Blairsville, Ga.; three granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.
