I’ll always remember Carmelo for his incredible kindness and the way he always thought of others before himself. One of my favorite memories was during a visit to Lissette’s house. Carmelo was in the kitchen, moving with such care and purpose, cooking and preparing the most delicious meal for my mom. He made sure she always felt welcome and cared for, and he did it with such a generous and loving heart.

There was a gentleness about him that never went unnoticed. He carried himself with quiet strength and a kindness that touched everyone around him. It was impossible not to admire the way he loved his family, his children, his grandchildren, and especially his beautiful wife. You could see how much they meant to him in everything he did.

Carmelo had a heart of gold, and the way he showed love through simple, everyday acts of care is something I’ll always remember and cherish. His legacy of love, family, and generosity will live on in all of you.
