Charlotte Carol Neville

Charlotte “Carol” Neville, 83, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026. She was a devoted mother, a proud “MiMaMa,” and a gifted cosmetologist and salon owner who spent her life bringing beauty, connection, and joy to everyone she met.

Born on July 22, 1943, in West Palm Beach, Carol was the cherished daughter of Alba Wells Rayside and William Clark Wilkinson. She grew up in the community she loved and was a member of the first graduating class of Forest Hill High School in 1961.

Carol had a natural gift for both style and connection, which shaped her remarkable 58-year career as a licensed hairstylist. She dedicated 52 of those years to Palm Beach Towers Hairstyling, where she also proudly owned and operated the salon for 23 years. Her salon was far more than a place of business—it was a gathering space filled with laughter, stories, and lasting friendships. Carol had a way of making everyone who sat in her chair feel seen, valued, and beautiful, inside and out.

Outside of her work, Carol’s greatest joy was the people she loved. Her home was always open, and Sundays at her house were a standing tradition, bringing together family and friends around food, laughter, and connection. She had a deep love for animals and never met one she didn’t adore. She also had a remarkable green thumb and found peace and creativity in caring for her plants.

Above all, Carol loved her family fiercely. She was the steady heart of her home and a loving mother to her daughters, Heather and Wendy. Her greatest joy in life was being “MiMaMa” to her grandsons, Ryan and Connor.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Heather Wells Sasso and Wendy Michelle Wall; her cherished grandsons, Ryan Frederick Wall and Connor William Wall; her brothers, William (“Bill”) Steven Wilkinson and John (“Jack”) Charles Wilkinson; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who were like family. She is reunited in peace with her parents, Alba Wells Rayside and William Clark Wilkinson, along with many beloved friends, family members, and cherished pets.

A service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on October 10, 2026, at 11:00 am at Hillcrest Memorial Park, located at 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Big Dog Ranch Rescue.

Carol’s hands brought beauty into the world, but it was her heart that made people feel loved. Her legacy lives on in the family she held so close and the countless lives she touched.
